Neuropathic pain model
Neuropathic pain is pain caused by injury to peripheral nerves, dorsal root of spinal cord, spinal cord, or certain areas in the brain caused by trauma or disease. Various therapies are not satisfactory, especially the clinically used narcotic analgesics, such as morphine, have little effect on a variety of neurogenic pain. The application value of animal models lies in their similarity to humans in terms of pain symptoms and sensory changes in neurogenic pain.
The research team of KCI has established a variety of stable pain models, hoping to provide you with efficient preclinical pharmacodynamics services.
